These can be gained from the breeder if both of the parents are AKC registered. You will be unable to permanently register your dog with the United Kennel Club without their papers. An AKC DNA profile containing the dog's registration information, genotype and a unique DNA profile number as issued for each dog sampled will be generated. Make your mark. The only real way a breeder can attempt to not breed your dog is to sell an AKC registered pup on a limited registration. You could still breed the pup but would be unable to get them registered. Take our lead there is a litter registration fee of 25 plus two dollars per puppy. Registrations take approximately 18 working days from the date mailed to AKC to be processed and returned to the owner after the litter application is processed.
